What Happened This Week in Washington 3/19/21

  1. Biden’s Back-Fire: “Look at how he steps and look at how I step. Watch how I run up ramps and he stumbles down ramps. Come on.” Biden spoke these words in jest last fall as then President Trump appeared to have a slight difficulty descending the stairs after a commencement speech at the U.S. Military Academy. I use the word “slight” because well, Biden’s version of running up the steps looks like this….

The truly humorous part is how the media immediately sang to the heavens and back how Trump was in bad health after he barely gripped the railing on his walk. Biden falls multiple times, on a set of stairs he previously spent eight years walking up, and White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield assures us the President is perfectly fine: “I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” Bedingfield said. “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs.” Right. Nothing more than another liberal media smokescreen they think we’re stupid enough to be blind to.

2. Pelsoi Puts a Pacifier in Our Mouths: With the U.S. an immigration crisis at its border that the country has not seen in over twenty years, not only is the Biden administration refusing to even use the word “crisis”, San Francisco’s resident prune-faced princess expressed the upmost confidence in the President’s handling of the situation, calling it “under control”. The House Speaker even went as far as calling Biden’s approach more “humane” that the policies of President Trump. More humane? To whom? Certainly not to the American people, especially those of us who live and work near the southern border where upwards of 2,000 migrants carrying everything from COVID-19 to cartel instructions, come waddling up to the borders in mass caravans wearing ubiquitous t-shirts that literally say “Biden: Please Let Us In!”. “The Biden administration has this under control,” Pelosi said Friday during her weekly news conference at the Capitol. “It is change and it will take some time, but it is values-based, humanitarian…and pragmatic with a plan to get things done.” What about this exactly pragmatic about New Mexican cattle ranchers pleading for help as ski-masked bandits ransack their livelihood, the El Paso DEA’s office seizing more than 1,451 kilograms of meth, fentanyl, heroin and cocaine, and U.S. border patrol agents arresting over 4,500 migrants per day? Of course, the media conveniently pats Joe’s behind and plays cute for the camera…
